Interagency Council Respite is a non-profit service, provides supervised activities and socialization, nutritious noon meal, snacks and takes safety precautions at all times. Group Day Care is available Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Adult day care provides a program of social, recreational, healthy activities and services in a group setting that:

  • Helps mentally and/or physically impaired adults to maintain or improve their level of functioning in order to remain in the community.
  • Offers participants the opportunity to socialize, enjoy peer support, and receive health and social services in a stimulating and supportive environment that promotes better physical and mental health.
  • Provides assistance to families and other caregivers who have responsibility for an older adult who cannot be left alone during the day, yet does not require 24 hour nursing care in an institutional setting.
  • Helps functionally impaired adults who live alone and need support services to improve or maintain their level of independence.
  • Provide support, respite and education for families and other caregivers.
