Financial Resources

Financial Fitness Class
This class helps put together a personalize budget to be able to live with ones means. This class is offered four times a year and is a six weeks class. Please call for more information.

Financial Resources Program
Interagency Council is now contracted through Western Arizona Council of Governments (WACOG) to provide financial assistance for short term crisis in all of Mohave County, AZ. Service is provided by appointment only. Please call 453-5800 to learn more.
The Western Arizona Council of Governments (WACOG) assists income qualified clients with their utility and rent/mortgage bills. Interagency also provides emergency food, and shelter to those who are income qualified.

Community Food Bank
Staffed by volunteers and funded through community donations, the Food Bank is open from-
10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M,
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

Chin Up
Chin Up collects manufacturers coupons, stamps them with Chin Up logo, and attaches them to store products at Bashas, Smiths and Food City. The grocer donates monies from these coupons to assist the needy who are unable to derive help from existing funding sources.

Legal Assistance Program
Community Legal Services provides attorneys for free legal assistance in civil matters to income qualified applicants. Interagency has a legal advocate available for income and program qualified clients.

Transition Housing
This provides a safe environment for single parents and their children who are homeless. Residents are permitted to stay until they are ready for independent living. While housed, the resident must be employed and/or attend school and must take part in the free counseling services of the Interagency.

Seasonal Programming
Adopt a Family is a seasonal volunteer campaign to help families and elders in need to have a better Christmas. Under the program a family lists a description of the family members and their needs.
All persons assisted in the program remain anonymous. Interagency verifies all assistance and matches adoptees to adopters.
